Standardly, you are given 24 hours to complete the lease signing process.
If you don't finish the process within 24 hours of the booking's acceptance, the host will have the right to cancel the lease and therefore the entire booking.
It's always up to the hosts whether they decide to wait longer or proceed with canceling the lease. Therefore, if you already know you won't be able to complete the process in time but are still interested in the booking, we recommend that you contact the host, explain your situation to them, and ask them to wait longer. We believe you'll come to a solution that suits you both.
| Note: The 24-hour timeframe is shortened in case of last-minute bookings, for which there is only a 3-hour period to finalize the lease. |
