In this article, you can find out what security services you have at your fingertips thanks to Flatio's exclusive landlord protection!

StayProtection for Landlords is a package of services offered by Flatio in partnership with AXA to provide landlords with a higher level of protection and peace of mind during their rental experience.

Here’s a list of the base services provided to every single landlord renting via Flatio: 

  • Upfront payments
    • With Flatio, tenants pay rents upfront, so you never have to worry about unpaid rents. It's an added layer of financial security you can count on.
  • Ready-made lease agreement that:
    • comes in 7 languages
    • provides one-click signing
    • allows for easy extension or termination
    • ensures compliance with all relevant laws
    • is securely stored in your profile for ready access
  • Tenant risk warning
    • You can always assess tenant credibility by reviewing evaluations from their previous stays. Additionally, you can double-check the tenant's credentials using their personal documents.
  • 7 days a week support
    • From listing your property to finalizing leases, we're with you at every step. Our team is always available to assist, guide, and ensure a seamless renting process. All requests resolved within a maximum of 24 hours.

On top of all this, most of our landlords use our Rental Insurance for Landlords - Powered by AXA. It provides you with additional coverage that was specifically designed for Flatio landlords and includes:

  • Liability insurance (up to 20 000€ per lease)
    • In case your tenant accidentally causes any damage in the property during their stay, it will be possible to cover the costs from the insurance. This applies to damages to:
      • the movable property which constitutes the household furnishings owned by you;
      • the structural components of the residential unit (e.g. walls, windows, doors, kitchen unit).
  • Assistance services insurance (up to 500€ per lease)
    • You and your tenants are able to use assistance services to deal with emergency situations that might arise in the household, such as requesting help with internet connection issues, dealing with electricity/gas/heating problems, removing a blocked-up door, or a failed function of a household appliance
  • Legal assistance insurance (up to 1000€ per lease)
    • You are able to use AXA's legal assistance in case of any disputes between you and your tenants.
  • 24/7 emergency line to handle all insured events
    • You have access to AXA's dedicated 24/7 emergency line which can be used to solve any unexpected situations during or after your tenants' stay.
