We understand that splitting the payment can come in handy sometimes.
On Flatio, it's currently not possible to split online payments (i.e., immediate payments via card or Google/Apple Pay). However, if you need to split the payment amongst multiple people, you can choose the bank transfer method.
All the necessary information for a bank transfer (e.g., bank account number, variable symbol, amount, etc.) can be found in the Payments section of your My Housing account, and you can share these details with anybody you need.
Therefore, if the rent to be paid is for example 1000 € and you want to split this amongst two people, both of them can send 500 € separately. As long as the given variable symbol is inserted in both transfers, we'll automatically connect both payments to the same lease agreement.
