Lagos is no different, so we present some of the best options for veganists or vegetarians visiting the Algarve region.
Poke Lagos
Located 1, 2 miles away from Meia Praia on Rua Don Vasco da Gama, this Hawaiian vegetarian restaurant is a must for Poke and salad lovers. Customers say portions are well served, and the food is delicious.
Poke is a Hawaiian speciality. It's traditionally a mix of raw cubes of seafood in soy sauce-based marinade. It is garnished with veggies and served over rice.
Abigail's
Located on the small road from the central plaza between Santa Maria and San Antonio church and museum, Abigail's is famous for its delicious acai bowls and avocado bagels.
When paying it a visit, you should check out the super vegan plate. The restaurant offers outdoor space, free WIFI and is wheelchair accessible. Card payments are accepted!
Coffee & Waves
This is a small coffee shop that also sells surfboards and gives you the surf report daily. Both vegetarian and vegan dishes are available.
It’s located on Travessa do Cotovelo 10. The shop accepts credit cards and offers free wifi.
Estudio Vegetariano
Located at Rua da Oliveira 30, Estudio Vegetariano is highly recommended. Established in Lagos in 2016, the restaurant offers various cuisines, including Indian curry, Lebanese falafel, Mediterranean lasagna and vegan chocolate mousse.
Golding
On Rua Infante de Sagres 64, you will find Golding. A vegetarian bistro serving breakfast food and a daily vegan dish for lunch.
It also offers vegan cakes, raw vegan cakes, vegan ice cream and organic coffee with plant milk. Gluten-free & sugar-free options are also available.
Lallana Restaurant
Lallana offers Vegetarian, international cuisine prepared based on local, biological ingredients. The kitchen is closed from 3:00pm to 6:00pm but continues serving coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, cakes, etc.
