Best Digital Nomad Groups to Join in Valencia

Digital nomads are often imagined to be very secluded from the rest of the world because they travel frequently. But the opposite is often true. There are tons of digital nomad communities in most major cities that are happy to meet new friends, network, and give advice to anyone who is visiting for a few months.

Online digital nomad groups in Valencia

Online groups are great for when you have a lot of questions. Being a digital nomad is often about learning from others, and thankfully, Valencia is full to the brim with people who are ready to help, share fun events, and network with you. There are three groups on Facebook dedicated to digital nomads.

First is Valencia Digital Nomads which is a community-based group that aims to connect people from various backgrounds. Second is the Valencia Digital Nomads group, which is run by Hoodpicker, and where you can find tons of interesting information. And the third is called Valencia Nomads and they focus on meetups and networking. And if you’re ready to see the rest of Spain, there is also the Digital Nomads Spain group which has tens of thousands of members.

There are also more general expat groups which can be a good source of information, especially when it comes to local specifics. The largest ones are Expats Valencia and Valencia Expats.

On the business side of things, you should definitely join the Valencia Freelancers and Business Owners. Their aim is mostly to network and share information about business opportunities.Speaking of which, if you have a product you are selling, head on down to Valencia City, Buy and Sell where people sell and re-sell a lot of cool stuff. This group is very active and has over a thousand potential customers.

Lastly, there are more information-heavy groups to join. Groups like Valencia Activities for Expats and Valencia Activities will keep you socialized while Valencia Apartments and Houses is a good place for finding accommodation in a pinch. With all these options, you will meet people, stay connected, and be in the loop on just about anything in Valencia.

Offline digital nomad groups in Valencia

Offline events and groups are a great way to both make friends and network. For more casual events, join the Nomad Nights that happen every Thursday and Friday or join the Co-Working Ruzafa events. There are groups that meet to hike the Ruta Buñol, enjoy a sunset Hatha Yoga class, or learn some dancing at the Tango workshop.
